kit contains a 1-piece fiberglass hull with molded in details, die-cut
plastic superstructure components & two Mabuchi 545 motors fixed
to the shafts. The highly detailed 750 piece fittings set includes
propellers, rescue boat, crane components, liferafts, radars, complete
wheelhouse interior details & more.

Based on a modified Stan Patrol 2200 design Drumbeat of Devon
was built in 1991 by Damen for Devon County Council Fisheries
Protection Department. Her duties is to patrol the north and south
coast of Devon where the vessel has to be capable of rounding
the rugged Cornish coastline, and the endurance to support herself
and crew for patrol periods of up to six days and to be both fast
and comfortable in most sea conditions. Maximum speed: 18 knots
and cruising speed 15 knots.

On the water
performance of Drumbeat is excellent, with no tendency to keel
over in the tightest of turns, attributed to the batteries positioned
at the lowest point in the hull.
Kit Contents:
a detailed glassfibre hull; propshafts, tubes, rudders and propellers;
styrene for deck, superstructure and a highly detailed wheelhouse
interior which alone includes 300 parts. A set of 250+ cast alloy
fittings; vacuum-formed rescue boat, tender, and liferaft canisters;
a large HIAB Seacrane kit; wood dowel for mast, brass rod for
railings; comprehensive instructions and drawings. (Paints and
glues are not provided. Tools and equipment will be required to
complete).
