Le Courageux The full-size vessels of the Le Courageux type can be found in numerous variants all along the Breton coast. The characteristic features of these boats are the exceptionally rotund hull shape and the very high bow - features which have proved outstandingly effective in the rough waters off the French Atlantic coast. The principal design features of the original vessel are reproduced accurately in our model, and its impressive size, robust, pugnacious appearance, and powerful motor system make Le Courageux a particularly interesting model. Our kit of Le Courageux features many highly pre-fabricated components, and this means that it is not solely the preserve of the experienced and skilled model builder; anyone who has already constructed one or two model boats will gain much pleasure from building this fishing boat.
