Kardan Style Motor Couplers Heavy duty brass ends are locked down to the shaft with a grub screw using the allen wrench supplied. The heavy duty universal joint slides over the brass ends and is held in place by the veins on the brass and grooves in the plastic. Bow Thruster With Electric Motor These very powerful bow thrusters are supplied fully mounted with a Power 400 7.2-Volt electrical motor. The propulsion is provided by a flat propeller (pedal)
which pressurises the water through jet nozzles whereby the entire assembly functions as a pump. This design is very robust and very stable and requires
the very little maintenance. The pump housing and the extension tubes are made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene). The motor is sealed with a G-ring and an
O-ring which prevents the entry of water whereby the bow thruster can be installed vertically as well as horizontally. The motor with the pump housing cover can be
removed easily. The cover has an O-ring that ensures water-tight sealing of the entire assembly. Details:

Steering Solution The Steering Solution is an effective means to control steering through the application of a unique cable and pulley system attached to the rudder posts. A servo, not supplied with steering solution, powers the cable. For large props of 3" or larger, the use of a high torque is suggested for overcoming strong prop wash. The rudders can be smoothly turned 90 degrees without the steering mechanism locking up as can occur with piano wire and bell cranks.
